The Teddy Bear Conspiracy

Have you driven the road between Queanbeyan and Bungendore lately? Have you noticed that there are teddy bears nailed randomly to trees? What is with that? Everyone I have spoken to has a different opinion of what it all means…

“It’s a protest to stop child abuse”…

“Someone just stuck their teddy bear up and everyone followed suite”…

“It’s a marketing ploy to sell more teddy bears”…

“It represents the number of children who have died on the roads”…

“It’s all the bears that tried to escape from Pooh’s Corner but never made it home to Canberra”…

“A crazy old lady who never had children steals them and nails them to the trees”…

“Each bear represents someone murdered by the Freemasons”…

“It’s an ad for the movie Toy Story”…

Do you know the REAL answer?
