The other morning at 6:09am I received a phone call on my mobile:
Her: “Hi, is that Joe?”
Me: “Umm… What?”
Her: “Hi Joe, it’s Jackie O from The Kyle and Jackie O Show on 2DayFM. Just letting you know you’ll shortly be on air to talk about your double dipping story.”
Me: “Ummm… I’m not Joe.”
Her: “Oh, sorry about that, goodbye. “
Me: “Zzzzzzzzzzz”
How’s that for a brush with fame!? Now if only I’d been more awake, my ‘double dipping’ story would have been great fun to improvise on live radio…
Damn those missed opportunities…
